More complete than I expected, include a semi-rigid memory and case what you see in the image, well built, field of view is reduced in short range, but long range is excellent

I bought two different night vision goggles from different stores to compare them. This one turned out to be much better, so I kept it and returned the other.

It is not a super fancy night vision goggles, but for the price it works pretty well. It can quickly focus on things in the dark, which is great. I chose it mainly because it has a head mount that you can adjust, so I do not have to carry it around my neck or in a bag.

Learning how to use it was easy and the instructions in the box were clear. All in all, it does the job for a simple night out, whether you are hunting or just enjoying the nighttime outdoors.

A few things to know, this is not a full goggles set, more of an LCD type screen with blinders. Not saying this is bad or not useful, it has its pros and cons. The screen is nice, clear and bright. In most cases the screen is a little too bright as it kind of gives away your position or shows where you are. Obviously depending on your purpose for use this can be a bad thing. If you are looking for a good quality camping fun tool, light to mediocre hunting this one is is made very well and worth the price point. High end true night vision goggles are very expensive and this unit has great night vision with a nice bracket for your head or helmet. I like it for what it is and what it can do.

We have really been getting into these night vision cameras that double as recorders and they are a lot of fun. When I saw this one with the optional straps for either wearing or putting on your hat, I was excited to give it a try. I was all set to get some nice photos to show but then my son asked to borrow it for some night shooting fun, and I completely forgot to get the shots. What I can tell you is that this is a pretty good unit, we have three others from various manufacturers, and this performs as well or better than any of those cameras. Additionally, and what really adds to this one is that you can put the strap on and wear it which is pretty cool and adds to the convenience. The only thing I will say is that it does sort of press down on your forehead a bit, not enough to make it unusable but it is noticeable. As far as its performance as a camera, overall this one will stand with any of them when comparing apples to apples. Let me first say that all of these types of units should really be marketed as cameras or video cameras and not goggles because they really are not. What they are is a video camera that has the capability to take photos with night vision features, similar in a lot of ways to the video cameras that came out about ten years ago. The difference between those and these is that the night vision technology has progressed by leaps and bounds and it really comes through in this camera. It has variable degrees of IR settings but even at the lowest one I can stand on the back deck and look clearly into the Woodline about forty yards back and see clear details. Keep in mind that everything is done digitally, from the view to the zoom so the results look fine but moving from short to long distances or moving too quickly will take a bit of a learning curve. They also include a micro-SD card but getting photos and videos that are clear takes and exceptionally steady hand - especially when zoomed in - unless you use a tripod of some sort. Overall, I really like this unit and think it is a lot of fun. For me as a photographer, it adds something new to my capabilities and that alone makes it worth the price. I really do not have a problem recommending this camera set up to anyone who is interested.
