So as a night vision monocular it does the job, and provides good details in pitch black situations. The zoom is a great function as well, and you still get good quality at the higher zoom levels. The biggest issues for this unit is the field of view and depth of view. Field of view is an issue if you are trying to track a fast moving object, with the depth of view adding to this as you need to adjust focus a lot.

This works incredibly well. You can see and record at night at impressive distances. It is able to attach to a tripod and that allows for clearer pictures. Definitely a great gift.

So, I got this for hunting and then did not get tickets. So, since I live in the middle of no were. I figured I would play with it. It does not disappointment! You definitely will be able to use them for hunting or just finding what is out in the fields. I wanted to see the way the animals were coming and going so I could have a better angle. This has worked pretty well for me and spotting things.

I can believe how well this thing works for being able to see at long distances, clearly, even in pitch black. Its like having a super power!. I took this out camping and its awesome for pointing out towards the woods on a small tripod to let it capture wildlife from a great distance. The cool thing is using the wifi capabilities to stream it to your phone so everyone can enjoy the view.

It takes a bit to focus, but it is every bit as much fun as I thought it would be. Since I live in Alaska, this will get a lot more use in the winter months than the summer.
